Mats Persson

Mats Persson har disputerat i ekonomisk historia vid Lunds universitet. Mats har varit Liberalernas ekonomisk-politisk talesperson och riksdagsledamot sedan 2014, i både finans- och utbildningsutskottet. Han är sedan hösten 2022 Sveriges utbildningsminister (L) med ansvar för högre utbildning, forskning och rymd.

Mats Persson holds a PhD in economic history at Lund University. Mats has been the Liberals’ economic policy spokesperson and member of parliament since 2014, in both the finance and education committees. Since autumn 2022, he is Sweden’s Minister of Education (L) with responsibility for higher education, research and space
