The Community Membership refers to a community membership of womenintech.se. The membership terms and conditions are an agreement between the community member(s) and Women In Tech Sweden Association. Through becoming a community member at womenintech.se you agree that Women In Tech Sweden Association, 802537-8202, Luftfartsgatan 11, 128 34 Skarpnäck, Sweden, saves your personal data and processes this in accordance with the Personuppgiftslagen (PUL) and Dataskyddsförordningen (GDPR). Being a community member of womenintech.se does not mean that the person becomes a member of the Women in Tech Sweden Association (non-for-profit organisation).
The Community Membership of womenintech.se is free of charge.
These Community Membership terms and conditions apply to all community members from March 31, 2026 and replace, from that date, all previously applicable membership terms and conditions. The Community Membership agreement runs without termination by default. Community members are able to cancel their membership at any time, without giving a reason as to why.
In annual reviews of the community member database, Women In Tech Sweden Association can decide to remove the data from a community member if the data is obsolete. This may be applicable when an email address is no longer reachable, e.g. if an auto reply confirms that the person has finished their employment linked to the email address that was registered in the community membership.
The Community Membership in womenintech.se is personal, as are the offerings given to any community member. The Community Membership and its benefits cannot be used by anyone other than the individual community members. A breach of this rule may result in a termination of membership.
Community Membership will be confirmed via email.
Community members are responsible for providing correct information and data in order to access your Community Membership account.
Community members of womenintech.se are responsible to handle their membership and personal information with care and responsibility, and according to PUL and GDPR. We will not communicate, spread, publish or otherwise give away your data. You’ll be able to cancel your membership all together anytime.
To process Community Memberships of womenintech.se, Women In Tech Sweden Association stores your personal data through active consent given at the moment of registration.
This is the information needed for membership: Your name, e-mail, being a student or professional, gender (it is possible not to state), city of residence and age group. We store this data for as long as you are a community member in order to manage your community membership.

Women In Tech Sweden Association may send invites to events and meet-ups as well as offerings related to your interest in tech and Women in Tech Sweden on behalf of our partners. Your data will not be shared with our partners.
If you are signing up to events or meetups where our partners are the hosts, please notice that they will have their own privacy policy that is beyond our control.
If you want to cancel your community membership, do so by sending an e-mail with a request to info@womenintech.se.
Make sure to send the request from the exact email address you used when registering for the community membership.
Your personal information and other information related to your membership will be saved only for as long as you are a member. If you are not satisfied with our handling of your information, you can report this to the Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten. According to the Dataskyddsförordningen, you are entitled to receive information about the processing of your personal data, free of charge once a year. Such a request must be sent from the email address that was used to register your membership to info@womenintech.se.

Women In Tech Sweden Association annually arranges a conference to which all members of womenintech.se are invited.
Conference participation comes without cost for the womenintech.se members, with the exception of a nominal administrative fee. Women In Tech Sweden Association or womenintech.se does not offer travel support or housing for participants.
The tickets to the conference are personal and can not be used by other than the registered community member. A breach to this rule may result in a termination of the womenintech.se community membership.
Women In Tech Sweden Association or womenintech.se can not guarantee any community member a ticket to the conference as the number of tickets are limited through the venue capacity.
The ticket release procedure varies over the years, and will be communicated on the website, social media and newsletters.
A valid ticket is a non-negotiable must to enter our conference.
How, when and why Women In Tech Sweden Association handles personal data is regulated in our Privacy Policy.
Third party vendors may be used for ticket handling where additional terms and conditions in regards to data processing may apply. The third party vendors are responsible to handle data in accordance and compliance with applicable regulations.
In order for us to create a good event experience we may collect additional data regarding your profession, if you are a student, if you have visited the conference before and if you have any relevant food preferences.This data will be shared with our event partner(s) in order to execute the event.. The third party event partner(s) are responsible to handle data in accordance and compliance with applicable regulations.
After the event, additional personal data collected in conjunction with the event will be deleted within three months, unless other consent has been given.
