Connect, Create, Innovate: Crafting Tech with Human Essence

On April 17, 2024 for the 11th year in a row, Women in Tech’s unique conference takes place, where 2,500 women* gather for a full day at the Stockholm Waterfront Congress Centre. Together with partners, participants are invited to build networks and gain inspiration and insights from role models in the industry.

“This year’s conference has the theme Connect, Create, Innovate, says Elin Eriksson, Creative Director for Women in Tech Sweden. Reflecting the collaborative and innovative aspects of tech, we want the day to be a catalyst for connection. The ambition is to highlight new ideas and provide new perspectives on the development landscape, encourage transformative conversations and bridge gaps between technical domains.”

“The underlying theme, Crafting Tech with Human Essence, is our way of highlighting how every byte of code can carry traces of human essence. We want to explore how technology can be created in a way that respects the depth and complexity of human experience and diverse backgrounds. We shape technology before it shapes us.”

Thanks to the strong support from Women in Tech’s partners, the tickets to the highly attractive conference are free of charge for our members. ? JOIN NOW ? The slots are usually fully booked in just a couple of minutes – but park that thought because change is happening! This year we are trying something new…

* People of all genders are welcome to join as members as well as participate in our events and initiatives. Everyone will benefit from a more inclusive tech industry. The responsibility to create the change is a joint liability.
