Åsa Johansen – Nominee for Narren, Stora Eventpriset 2024

We are thrilled to share some incredible news—our very own Åsa Johansen, co-founder and CEO of Women in Tech, has been nominated for Narren – Stora Eventpriset 2024! This award, presented by Svenska Eventakademin, honors individuals in the event and meetings industry who inspire, innovate, and lead the way toward impactful change.

Åsa is one of just five nominees recognized for their exceptional contributions to the field. Over her 30-year career in marketing, communication, and events, Åsa has consistently worked to create platforms that bring people together to drive meaningful progress.

As a founder of Women in Tech, Åsa has been instrumental in establishing one of Sweden’s most impactful organizations advocating for a more gender-equal tech industry. Today, Women in Tech collaborates with 40 corporate partners, engages a community of 25,000 members, and remains a beacon for inclusion and opportunity in a male-dominated field.
