Elin Bäcklund

Elin is the CTO and responsible for the technical innovation and direction at ArK Kapital. Before joining ArK, Elin led the development of Motherbrain, EQT’s machine learning platform trained to identify dark horses before competing firms. As a Full Stack Engineer, she’s passionate about disrupting capital allocation by putting tech and data at the heart of it. But her first passion is however fostering a diverse and frontier tech team.

Elin has been coding since she was 9 years old, and holds a MSc in Engineering Physics with Computer Science. She has also been featured on Forbes 30 under 30 list for outstanding talent in Finance in 2020.
