After inspiring meetups in Stockholm, Malmö, and Sundsvall, it was finally Gothenburg’s turn – and the evening exceeded every expectation. Our Women in Tech Sweden meetup in Gothenburg, hosted together with B3 Consulting Group, became exactly the warm, meaningful, and energising gathering we hoped for.
B3 welcomed us to their home at Kämpegatan 6, describing it as a place “where tech meets good vibes, quick wit, and the occasional pun.” The evening promised inspiration, honest conversations, and a look at the tech world beyond buzzwords – and that’s precisely what participants experienced.
A heartfelt thank you to Melinda Petzén, Sandra Kopp, Josefine Lindström, Lidia Hagos, and Eva Hegnar for sharing their experiences, reflections, career turns, and even their mistakes (the very best lessons!).
Their mix of clarity, courage, and humour created a space where participants felt both inspired and understood.
This meetup was part of B3 Include, B3’s initiative focused on inclusion, representation, and real human connection. Just like Women in Tech Sweden, Include aims to create room for diverse voices and perspectives, and to spark change that’s genuine, not just theoretical.
The atmosphere throughout the evening was vibrant, open, and full of curiosity. Conversations flowed easily, and new networks formed in an instant – proof of how needed these spaces truly are.
“There was this spark in the room — people connecting, cheering each other on, being honest about their journeys. It felt real, and it felt important.” – Åsa, Women in Tech Sweden
