– What do you do as a Woman in Tech?

For over 20 years I have been combining my passion for music, entertainment, and customer experience to create engaging and memorable online and offline experiences for diverse audiences.

I have been delivering digital strategy, marketing, and innovative e-commerce-solutions that drive growth & customer satisfaction, and loyalty for several different organizations and I¨m proud of my contribution in transforming online sales and customer satisfaction for SJs customers.

Ive established a strategic roadmap for digital development, implemented agile methodologies, and managed cross-functional teams and projects. I´ve also orchestrated one of the biggest transformations at SJ AB during 2017-2024 replacing a 30 year old legacy booking solution with a cloud based SAS-solution including a re-launch of SJs award winning digital sales channels.

I am now working with the digital transformation across the whole organization and will dive more deeply into the fields of AI, data, automation etc to enable and enhance operational efficiency and implementing radical simplicity across processes.

– What does the Women in Tech community mean to you?

Inspiration and growth. I love to meet other women that are so knowledgable and hungry for challenges. Its very important to be able to have a network of peers that you can turn to to think together and create new opportunities.

– If you could give one piece of advice to an aspiring woman in tech, what would that be?

Be eager to learn new skills, explore new opportunities, and challenge yourself to grow as a leader and a professional.

– Fun fact: Do you have any pets or hobbies? Tell us about them!

I have a whole different career as an open format DJ. I call it my night time job. Music is my passion and with music I can bring so much joy to mine and other peoples lives. I am resident DJ at the party concept club “Soul Train Party”, I have an online radio show in the Netherlands where I play house and nu-disco and I do corporate and private events. I love it! And it blends very well also with my tech interest – DJing today is not only knowing the music, its also very digitalized and I need to keep up with the fast development and learn new skills all the time.
