This time, we’re thrilled to spotlight a brilliant mind from the intersection of communication and innovation!
Meet Amélie Reichmuth, a freelancer within media and communication. With a background in social sciences and a strong interest in how emerging technologies reshape the world around us, Amélie brings a unique perspective to the tech landscape. Her work bridges the gap between research, media, and society—always with curiosity and critical thinking at the core.
Amélie is passionate about exploring the societal impact of tech—from global challenges to ethical dilemmas and shifting geopolitical dynamics. While she doesn’t code or build software, her voice is an important one in the broader conversation around innovation. Let’s dive into her story!
To be honest, I’m not sure I can describe myself as a Woman in Tech. I’ve studied social sciences and now work in media and communication.
But I’m fascinated by how new technologies shape society—how they change our lifestyles, raise complex ethical questions, challenge legislation, and sometimes even disrupt global power structures. My role is all about communicating those shifts in ways that spark dialogue and understanding.
To me, the Women in Tech community is all about sisterhood.
It’s a space where we connect, share, learn from one another—and most importantly, have fun doing it. You know what they say: Work smart, not hard!
Learn early on to be comfortable in your own skin—because you are enough, just as you are.
Define success on your own terms. Embrace challenges and setbacks as part of the journey. When you do that, you’ll be unstoppable—regardless of what others may say.
Since moving to Scandinavia, I’ve become a bit of a fitness enthusiast! I usually swing by the gym after work for a mix of cardio and weight training—it helps me keep that work-life balance in check.
When I’m not at the gym, I’m diving into media: books, podcasts, and of course, series—call it occupational conditioning!
