Join us at Almedalen 2026!

This year, we return to Almedalen to host two conversations that explore the people, leadership, and decisions behind Sweden’s tech industry. Through data, dialogue, and diverse perspectives, we aim to contribute to one of the most important discussions facing our sector today: how we build a tech industry that attracts, develops, and retains the talent needed for the future.

Seminar 1: The State of Women in Tech 2026

Thursday, 25 June | 14:00–15:00 | Teatern, Strand Hotel, Strandgatan 34

How do women in Sweden’s tech industry feel about their jobs? Are they thriving, considering a career move, or thinking about leaving the industry altogether?

At The State of Women in Tech 2026, we’ll present findings from our annual community survey, offering a snapshot of the experiences, challenges, and opportunities facing women working across Sweden’s tech ecosystem today.

The report provides valuable insights for leaders, employers, policymakers, and anyone interested in understanding the current state of diversity and inclusion in tech. Together with industry leaders and decision-makers, we’ll discuss what the data tells us, where progress is being made, and what actions are needed to drive meaningful change.

Among the speakers are Sweden’s Minister for Gender Equality Nina Larsson, Anna Gulliksen, Jessica Carragher Wallner, and Frida Eliasson.

Seminar 2: Women in Tech Allies 2026

Thursday, 25 June | 16:00–17:00 | Teatern, Strand Hotel, Strandgatan 34

Creating a more inclusive tech industry cannot be the responsibility of women alone.

That’s why we’re once again hosting Women in Tech Allies—a conversation focused on the role of leaders, allies, and especially men in creating workplaces where more people can succeed and contribute.

The seminar highlights the business case for inclusion and explores how diverse teams, inclusive leadership, and broader representation contribute to innovation, growth, and competitiveness. By bringing together CEOs, senior leaders, and changemakers from across Swedish business and technology, we hope to inspire more people to take an active role in building the future of work.

Equality is not a women’s issue. It’s a leadership issue. A talent issue. And a business issue.
