AWS re:Invent 2025

Our amazing volunteer and Social Media Specialist, Suzana Melo, returned to Las Vegas this year as an alumni advisor, supporting and mentoring the new global cohort of AWS re:Invent grant recipients.

During an intense week of workshops, AI discussions, keynotes, and community events, Suzana also attended the panel “Rewriting the Code: Forging the Future with AI, Empathy, and Change.” Her reflections highlight how women technologists are shaping a more inclusive and responsible future for AI.

Suzana’s journey at re:Invent continues to inspire us.

Last year’s experience led her to found the AWS Women’s User Group Sweden, co-organize AWS community meetups, contribute to AWS Community Day Baltics, and deliver workshops empowering women in tech across Europe.

This year, she’s returning with renewed energy, saying she is “full of ideas and excited about what I’ll create and contribute next year, including to the Women in Tech Sweden community!”
