At our upcoming Meet-Up with Atea Sweden, we’re bringing together women from across the tech industry to explore the technology, culture and people behind where the industry is heading.

From insights into today’s IT landscape to honest conversations about women’s experiences and career paths, the evening is about looking ahead, while getting to know the people shaping tech today.

We’ll start by getting to know Atea and the people behind the technology.

Felicia Nordahl, Sales Manager, Digital Workplace at Atea, and Åsa Johansen, Founder & CEO of Women in Tech Sweden, will set the stage for the evening and introduce us to Atea’s work, culture and the women working and leading across different parts of the tech industry.

Because technology is never just about the technology itself. It’s also about the people, perspectives and culture behind it.

A look at where tech is heading

What’s happening in the tech industry right now — and where are we headed next?

Maria Ehrin, Business Developer CIO Analytics at Atea, will share insights from Atea’s CIO Analytics report, looking at what’s currently at the top of the agenda for today’s IT leaders and what that can tell us about the future of technology.

It’s a chance to step back from the day-to-day and look at the bigger picture: the trends, challenges and opportunities shaping the industry.

Honest conversations about women in tech

Then we’ll bring the conversation closer to home.

Felicia Nordahl, Sophie Schmidt-Rosenkvist, Regional Manager at Atea South, and Åsa Johansen will take part in a panel discussion about women’s experiences and opportunities in IT and tech.

We’ll talk about career paths, what it’s like to work and lead in the industry, and how we can create more opportunities for women to both find their way into tech and develop once they’re there.

There’ll also be space for questions, different perspectives and concrete examples of how technology can create meaning and contribute to society.

And then, we keep talking

Because some of the best conversations happen after the presentations.

We’ll wrap up the evening with pizza and bubbly, giving everyone time to meet other women in tech, exchange experiences and make new connections across Atea, Women in Tech Sweden and the wider industry.
