Petra Klein is the Värmland native who relocated to Stockholm in pursuit of an IT and tech job. Her career has progressed from managing firewalls and encryption equipment to leadership in the field of cybersecurity. Petra worked for many years at the National Defence Radio Establishment (FRA) as an ethical hacker, and she has now brought this experience into her current role as the head of information security at Swedbank, where she currently works as a CISO (Chief Information Security Officer). Petra is also dedicated to and passionate about Swedbank’s diversity issues, as evidenced, among other things, by her leadership of the programs Swedbank Women in Cyber Security and sponsoring of Swedbank Women in Tech, which seek to empower and educate women in cybersecurity but, more importantly, to encourage young girls to pursue careers in technology.
