Susanna Eskola is the Chief Operating Officer of Nokia Defense, responsible for its operational performance and strategic development.

Her career spans business strategy, corporate leadership, and defense. Prior to her current role, she held several senior positions at Nokia’s headquarters in corporate affairs, working closely with executive leadership on strategic priorities and corporate direction.

Earlier, she served in diplomatic and defense-focused roles with the British Embassy in Helsinki, the Finnish Embassy in London in the Defence Attaché’s office, and at the European Commission, alongside senior advisory work in the Nordic region.

She brings a strong blend of geopolitical insight and practical business leadership to the development of defense and security capabilities in the private sector.
