Sofia is an accomplished IT Executive and brings over 20 years of experience in large-scale transformation programs within the Financial Services Industry, specializing in Core Banking systems integration and transition programs. Successfully managed complex projects such as Temenos T24 implementations for De Novo and large European banks, SAP CRM solutions for Canadian banks, and extensive migrations for Australian banks. Demonstrated expertise in post-merger operations for American banks, overseeing multi-site control rooms and managing numerous independent releases.  Joined Nordea as Head of the Core Banking Programme this year.

As CIO of an International Non-Profit Organization, led IT unit and information security strategic objectives, spearheaded digital transformation initiatives, including cloud infrastructure migration and brings deep experience of working with complex international organizations operating in a global scale.
