Jenny Gardner

Senior Strategy Director, Saab

Jenny Gardner is Senior Director, Future Capabilities, Innovation Strategy & Portfolio at Business Area Surveillance at Saab and leads on international strategy, research and experimentation in areas like space, cyber, communications and C-UAS.

She has spent her career mainly in management positions in the ICT and insurance sectors as well as serving UK Government as Director of the Department for International Trade (DIT) for Sweden.

She established, in collaboration with Imperial College London (ICL), the Saab Innovation Hub to support Saab’s UK-wide network pertaining to technology R&D. She served for almost four years as Head of Strategy for Saab’s Combat Systems. She produces the Saab and ICL podcast Zero Pressure, hosted by the UK’s first astronaut, Helen Sharman. She is since several years a member of the Working Group of Sweden’s National Strategic Innovation Programme for Aeronautics (Innovair) and the Working Group for Cyber Defence at the Swedish Security & Defence Industry Association (SOFF).
