🎤 On the Day

The day you shine! ✨

Remember, out of all the amazing people that pitched to speak – we selected you as you are knowledgeable in your craft, have a story that we need more people to hear and that this is your time to shine in front of the friendliest audience in the world.

Our backstage team will be on hand to answer any questions and calm any nerves.

🎟️ Entry

1. Use your QR code at the entrance on the day of the event.
2. You have the same entrance as the other attendees, but go to the front of the queue and tell the volunteers that you are a speaker, and they will let you through, then you will get your speaker badge.
3. Our volunteers have yellow t-shirts, do reach out to them for any help.
4. Go to the speaker’s green room after you have entered.

✨ Agenda

The agenda will be live on the website. You can see specific times in the PDF attached at the bottom of this page. Note: your exact stage time may change so keep an eye on updates.

At the rehearsal, you will be given time you need to be on the side of the stage to get mic’ed up – it is generally 20 minutes before you go on stage. We have wonderful stage managers who will ensure you are where you need to be. Make sure you are in the speakers’ green room before your talk, so that they can find you.

💄 Make up

• We have 2 make-up artists
• You will not have a full face done on the day, but you will have touch up. We will communicate the time, the week before the event.
• You will be doing your own hairstyling – there will be some mirrors and products in the green room.

🥙 Food and drink 

• You are welcome to go in and out of the green room all day, there will be refreshments, cue cards, make-up, and time to chat with the other speakers – this will also be staffed all day if you want to leave your bags there rather than in the cloakroom.
• There will be food and beverages for you in the speaker’s green room during the day.
• We will have a relaxed speaker’s dinner after the event at 18:30 at Waterfront hotel (same as the conference.) Please accept the calendar invite to confirm your attendance.
• If have come with plus ones, they will not be able to join the speaker’s dinner unfortunately as we have limited space (and budget), but they can join us in the bar afterwards. 🍷
