Yvonne Ruwaida

Yvonne Ruwaida is a power system engineer and business strategist working with innovation and change management at the grid company Vattenfall Distribution. She is engaged in EU DSO Entity and Swedenergy with the new regulation for demand response. In her work she has participated in establishing Sweden’s first local flexibility market within the European project CoordiNet and is working with flexibility solutions for EV-charging and other flexible customers. After a long background in politics for the Green Party Yvonne studied power system engineering at the age of 40. She is engaged in keeping global warming below the 1,5 degrees Celsius goal, protecting biodiversity, fighting for equal rights and believes that change comes with knowledge and participation.
