“Space to Play”

This year, we’re encouraging society to create more space for women to unlock their creativity and drive progress. The theme is inspired by two kinds of space: the boundless universe, full of wonders and infinite possibilities, and the need to create more playfulness for us to unlock our creativity and drive progress.

With a playful spirit at its core, #WITswe2025 invites us to look both outward—to the stars—and inward, to explore how curiosity and experimentation can spark innovation in tech.

“Play reveals our humanity. Through play, we discover new solutions, innovate boldly, and build skills for the future.” says Elin Eriksson, Creative Director, Women in Tech Sweden

🪐 Just as space exploration pushes boundaries and reveals the unknown, play encourages us to embrace challenges, try new approaches, and open our minds to fresh perspectives. It’s about creating a mindset where curiosity fuels progress—whether we’re solving problems on Earth or imagining solutions beyond our planet.

On the 23rd April, we’re inviting speakers, partners, and our vibrant community of members to approach technology with the same curiosity and wonder as a child at play – let’s see what happens.🤸🏻‍♀️

Ps. The Ticket Raffle will open soon – stay tuned 👀
