On November 5, we’re heading to Skatteverket in Sundbyberg for an evening meetup exploring cloud technology, cybersecurity, AI and gender equality at the heart of society.
What does it mean to work with technology at the heart of society?
At our upcoming Meet-Up with Skatteverket, the Swedish Tax Agency, we’re exploring how technology supports the services people across Sweden rely on every day — and what it takes to make those services secure, sustainable and ready for the future.
From cloud technology and cybersecurity to AI and gender equality, the evening brings together different perspectives on the role tech plays in shaping society.
Skatteverket’s IT department works with the development, operation and maintenance of IT systems that support essential public services — from filing taxes and running a business to moving or getting married.
With around 1,700 employees across Sweden, the department focuses on modern technology and long-term, future-proof solutions.
We’ll take a closer look at how these systems are built, including the thinking behind cloud technology and what it takes to create solutions that can evolve alongside society’s needs.
How do we build secure digital environments in a world where technology is constantly changing?
Cybersecurity is essential to protecting the systems and services we depend on. But resilience takes more than technical knowledge alone. It also requires people who understand how technology works, how it affects others and how to work together when challenges arise.
We’ll explore the relationship between technical expertise, leadership and human understanding — and why all three matter when building a more secure digital society.
AI is changing how we work, make decisions and develop technology. But how do we make sure that the future we build works for everyone?
The evening will include an interactive AI workshop exploring AI and gender equality, creating space to consider how technology, the people who build it and the choices we make can influence the outcomes.
It’s an opportunity to look beyond the tools themselves and think about inclusion, responsibility and the impact of technology on society.
Because technology moves forward through more than presentations and technical solutions. It also grows through shared experiences, different perspectives and conversations.
We’ll start the evening with food and mingling, take part in the programme together, and finish with more time to connect with fellow women in tech.
Join us for an evening about modern technology, a more inclusive future and the people working to make society’s digital services stronger.
