What do you do as a Woman in Tech?

I’m the founder of an AI company. We help e-commerce brands reduce returns and turn them into profit —financially and environmentally. Returns are one of the industry’s biggest challenges, and I want to prove that sustainability and margins can align with the right technology.

I got into tech when I was working in sales in the telco industry. It was during the shift to smartphones when apps started changing how we live. The transformation fascinated me. That, combined with my passion for sales, led me to sell different types of tech within telecom, like SaaS and cloud solutions for B2B.

After that, I took digital strategy and transformation courses and ended up in the field of AI and adtech. I learned a great deal about marketing strategies, e-commerce, and AI during those years, which eventually led me to create my own company.

What made you choose tech?

My original plan was to study politics and international relations. Life went another direction, and I couldn’t be happier about that. This is such a great field to work in. It’s constantly evolving, filled with inspiring people, and I’m thrilled to be part of it.

What does the Women in Tech community mean to you?

A great deal. Seeing women build, lead, and solve complex problems matters. This community makes the journey less isolated and the possibilities more visible. There’s always someone to talk to and share advice with.

If you could give one piece of advice to an aspiring woman in tech, what would it be?

Move before you feel ready. Have no fear. You learn faster in motion. Be humble in your learning and believe in yourself like a crazy person. Surround yourself with people who believe in growth, who challenge you to rise, and who have a positive attitude. Energy is contagious.

What’s a hobby or interest you’re passionate about outside of work?

I love spending time in nature, hiking, skiing, golfing, or simply being outdoors. I can’t say no to a good adventure, so I try to find small ones in my everyday life and travel whenever I can. Exploring the world gives me perspective and gratitude. Hopefully, Antarctica will be next!
