Creating Space for Women in Tech: WIT x Epicenter

Women in Tech Sweden is thrilled to announce a partnership with Epicenter, Stockholm’s leading innovation hub. Over the past decade, Women in Tech Sweden and Epicenter have run parallel paths, with networking and community-building as core pillars of their missions. It feels only natural that we now combine our platforms.

“Creating space isn’t just metaphorical—it’s literal. With Epicenter, we’re carving out a place where women in tech can meet, learn, and lead. This hub symbolizes growth and the ongoing need to prioritize DEI. And, on a personal note, I’m thrilled to say our HQ is no longer my kitchen! We’re immensely grateful to Epicenter for believing in our vision and sharing our values. It’s a match made in heaven” – Åsa Johansen, Director of Women in Tech Sweden.

A Space to Call Home

For the first time, Women in Tech Sweden will have a hub to call home—a physical space where ideas, connections, and opportunities can flourish. Epicenter’s dedication to fostering innovation, networking, and collaboration aligns perfectly with our mission to empower women and drive meaningful change in the tech industry.

“We’re very excited and proud to have Women in Tech joining the Epicenter community. At Epicenter we work with a curated network of bold entrepreneurs and business leaders that are driving change. With WIT in the house we’ll add more women to the community that can serve as role models not only to future female entrepreneurs but to our community at large” – Amanda Back, Head of Marketing at Epicenter.
