Sakina has a vast experience in sales and marketing and worked at the successful startup Truecaller, launching the app globally. She now started Skyqraft with two others to smartly tackle the power-line inspection industry by using drones and AI. Their goal is to protect the environment by using 0g emission per kilometer compared to helicopter inspections with at least an average of 600g CO2 emissions per kilometer on a rough calculation. They want to also help a large part of the earth’s population who does not have access to electricity, while global energy demand is expected to increase by 37 percent by 2040. By changing how inspections are done today, they want to ensure access to electricity for everyone without damaging our planet.
